On street parking in Avon Dassett or the pub The Yew Tree has parking.
Well laid out pathways, with stiles and gates througout the walk. Its another walk that does get muddy in the wet winter months so make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear.
No water here
In the village by the church which is on the route.
If your marking off any miles of the Centenary Way, a section of this walk crosses over it. The Yew Tree pub is super dog friendly and in the summer has an ice cream shack in the garden, does a great roast dinner too. Full details of opening times etc can be found on their website https://theyewtreepub.co.uk/ and check out their social media for special events happening such as open mic, festivals etc.
Very well laid out route but when you get to the green in Fenny Compton don't forget to take a picture of your dog on Dog Lane (it's an unwritten rule). Just after this green the footpath is slightly hidden, you are looking for the signpost just after Grants Close (see pictures). You can also add on another walk we have on our Pup and Away Account up and over the Hills if you want to add a bit extra on.https://www.pupandaway.co.uk/west-sussex-dog-walks/burton-dassett-hills Lots of off lead opportunities, but be prepared for muddy dogs if its been raining!
