There are 2 car parks; the upper car park is off Beacon Road, (LE12 8SP, SK 51034 14457) and the lower car park is found off Breakback Road (LE12 8TA, SK 52214 14836).
Gravel and tarmac pathways weave up through the sculpture trail to the top of Beacon Hill. No stiles, buggy and wheelchair friendly.
No water here
Poo Bins are located all around the trails at regular intervals.
For the Trig point baggers out there at the top of Beacon hill there is one.
Dogs are meant to be under close control, as we walked through the route there were plenty off lead, so I think just use your common sense and if you know your dog has good recall etc then judge accordingly. It does get very busy, but is very family and dog friendly.
There are plenty of benches and picnic spots to enjoy some lunch at. Theres also a cafe in the lower car park. There are some amazing sculptures on the trail, I particularly loved the large ants that were made out of recycled materials walking across the wall.
