I wouldn't really call this a woodland walk, as there's not large open areas of forest, but the majority of the walk is along chalk or woodland trails in what is basically a tree lined trail around the perimeter of pastural farmland. So kind of a woodland walk!! 🤷🤦♂️
From the car park we headed in the far right corner direction which heads straight up, and then after a short while you come past the Slindon Village pond into the village.
It's a pretty little village but just houses as far as I could tell, so whilst there is some road sections they're very quiet. Keep going left, and past the college there is a small road off to you left for a campsite. Walk up here, it's not that well signposted but left is the campsite, straight forward I don't know - farm I guess, but you want the right turn. This will essentially complete the loop back to the car park.
It's a nice area, it was fairly busy with other dog walkers mainly, but not crazy and still had plenty of space.
