Plenty of free parking, no fees or height barriers.
Relatively flat walk through open fields and around Boddington Reservoir. Some gates to manouver through but no stiles on the route.
This walk loops around the Boddington Reservoir. there are some patches where the dogs can get in the water, just be mindful if there are anglers using the water, they don't like it when dogs disturb the water.
Bins at the car park entrance and in the village of Boddington.
The Plough Inn, 32 Warwick Rd, Upper Boddington, Daventry NN11 6DH, is a dog friendly pub on this route.
Riley took his make Rocco over to Boddington. Lovely walk with plenty of off lead opportunities, can get a bit muddy in some of the fields but nothing you wouldn't expect at the wetter times of the year. Around the Reservoir there are also a couple of boggy marshy places, well signposted so you can avoid a bog dog by keeping en eye out for them ;) There are sometimes sheep grazing in one or two of the fields but again they are well signposted and you can see far in advance so wont cause any problems.
