There is a lay by opposite Skinners Road entrance for 5 or 6 cars
Mostly flat walk with no hills to climb. Some road, some grass, some woodland and some very muddy sections even in May. No stiles, are a few kissing gates.
There is a stream/small river that runs alongside the woodland section for quite a while - we didn't see anywhere to access it though with the banks being a bit high.
No bins here
We started the walk heading down the road Skinners Lane (is minor road but are cars around). After a while the road forks off to the left, is a public footpath sign just past the Skinners Land Farm sign. keep on this road as it takes you through some pretty fields and equestrian properties, and after the buildings you'll see a metal kissing gate into the field on your left so take this and head straight through the field.
Beyond the fields it comes out onto another minor road, head left for a short while before heading left again down a private driveway - sign posts here not particularly clear but keep going and through the gate into the field and path picks up from here.
There's some nice open grass area here through a couple of fields, and the path will then lead into the woodland section with stream running alongside the path on your left. Keep on this path and it takes you straight back to the main road and your car, but beware the last couple of hundred yards of this path are very narrow, and if wet extremely boggy!
Quite a bit of road walking here, and are lots of horses around although not directly on any fields we went through but clearly paths are used by them too. Was nice and quiet though, and Hank enjoyed getting muddy and having a run!
