We parked in the free Cobnor Farm Amenity Car Park which has space for a dozen or so cars. Be aware 1.8m height barrier here.
Nice flat walk with no hills. Are a few stepped sections and particularly towards the end some paths are quite narrow and overgrown. No stiles.
Make sure you check tide times if you want to do the whole walk as at the furthest point the path is impassable at high tide.
There are a couple of points where you can climb down the rocks to the water, but be aware also that it is not a sandy beach but boggy mud flats, so be careful with you and your dog as don't want to get stuck! For us that is why Hank was on the lead most of the way!
Didn't see any bins along the route
Is part of the Chichester Harbour AONB, and lots of interesting wildlife here.
We loved this walk, perfect for a sunny day with lovely scenery and lots to see.
Heading out the back of the car pack we took the left path alongside the large field beside the hedge which takes you to the waters edge and headed right.
The coastal path then just takes you all the way down to the peninsula, with the only deviation when you have to go inland a bit past the sports centre but signs are decent enough.
Mostly the path is raised from the coast, until you get to the peninsula where it take you on the pebble beach for a section - check tide times as this section is flooded at high tide.
If you just want the coastal walk then you can just head back from here, but we carried on and the second part of the walk takes you through some large flat fields. This was lovely too though, and unlike any other area of Sussex it almost felt like Suffolk or somewhere else as all the fields and farmland are completely flat.
It's quite a way through these fields before you are able to turn right crossing them which will lead you across the field to Cot Lane. This is a quiet single track road but cars going quite fast so on lead for a bit. Keep on the road for a while, and then just before the church there's a signposted path on your right, take this and this goes all the way back to the car park.
