Parking

On street parking right outside the Church, as always be mindful and respectful of the local residents.

Terrain

Relatively flat walk along canal tow paths and through open fields mainly. You do cross the railway line in two places. The first one you need to phone through to the controller before crossing the line.

Water

The walk goes along a tow path so if you are happy to let your dog swim in the water you can, we kept Riley on the lead because there were lots of birds and boats on the canal and didn't want to cause any issues.

Poo Bins

in the village there is a poo bin and in Farnborough but no other bins on the route.

Local Info

The Brasenose Arms is 3 miles down the road in Cropredy, very dog friendly with a huge beer garden, Station Rd, Cropredy, Banbury OX17 1PW.

Author Review

Lovely walk with plenty of off lead opportunities, can get a bit muddy during the winter months but a lovely loop that is quiet when you get off the tow path, and makes a perfect Sundy morning ramble. Some great places to take some photos by the locks and railway bridges.
