You can either park at Compton Verney for free or in the village of Combrook, as always be mindfull of the local residents.
Well signposted open fields, some small hills but nothing major. The fields can get a bit muddy but nothing any abnormal fr countryside walking.
We did this walk in January on a very cold frosty day so didn't let Riley in the water, but in the warmer months there are numberous places to access the water .
If you park at Compton Verney there are plenty of poo bins, if not you will have to wait until you get into the village of Combrook.
Always worth having a look to see what Compton Verney has going on with Art Exhibitions etc www.comptonverney.org.uk.
Lots of off lead opportunites, the walk takes you across large open fields. The village of Combrook is super cute rural and and has a stunning church in the centre. You do cross the main road at Compton Verney to get access to the footpath which can be busy but other than that hardly and busy roads etc. There were also no cattle in any of the fields when we walked this rout. Some cute areas of woodland to walk through too. The walk has a little bit of everything.
