There are several rough lay-bys along Deaks Lane. We found one with space for a couple of cars just before the bridge (coming from Ansty) - the footpath starts just the other side of the bridge on the left, behind our cars in the picture.
Muddy woodland paths, uneven and bumpy. Generally very flat, a few sloped sections but nothing too big. No stiles.
The first half of the walk is alongside a stream with lots of spots for dogs to jump in and out.
No bins here.
Not a lot else here, Bodle Bros pet supplies is only about 5 minutes away towards Burgess Hill.
A really nice quiet walk here, we didn't see another soul on our walk and it's a very peaceful area.
It's a simple route too, the first section walks along the stream, then when you get to the road at the end take a left up the hill, and then once at the top after a little while the path goes off the the left again. Continue through the woods and eventually you come to a small gate which takes you alongside the vineyard, which then takes you all the way back to Deaks Lane. Head left on the road, and after a few hundred yards you're back at your car. It is a single track country road at the end with no pavements, so be wary of this and maybe not suitable for excited puppies.
