Residential parking here, plenty available on the estate. The path starts if you go down Dapples Lane and there is a layby down this street.
A nice flat walk in the main - adjacent to the downs link section there is a narrower path to the side which gives nice views over the fields but if you choose this it is a bit more up and down. Lots of tarmac sections, very quiet private tracks we didn't see any cars. Are a couple of grassy areas whcih were still boggy at a time when most wet areas drying out. No stiles.
No water here. In truth one of the reasons why I ventured here is that the path goes next to Vachery Pond which looked good on the map but it is a private nature reserve, and even when you're walking next to it you can't even see it through the hedges!
No bins here

A nice quiet walk here starting in the village of Cranleigh.
At the end of Dapples Lane there are some steps up to the main track so head left. This is the Downs Link section staight away. Keep on going, after a while there is another bridge with some steps doen so go down to the left and up the drive with the enormous trees flanking it.
head right at the top and past the grand entrance to Vachery House, and the path veers off to the right across a meadow. I got cocky on the walk thinking I no longer needed my wellies for the first time this year, but this section was unavaidably boggy so white trainers a bad choice.
This carries on past a field and go rigth at the end and you're back on the downs link path. You can just go right here and you're on your way back - I headed straight over though for a bit of a long walk which took me along som emore private roads, and then through a little woodland with lots of Blubells before again rejoining the main path back. Just be aware if doing this section you do go very close to a main road so keep an eye on that.
It wasn't busy at all, but is used by cyclists and runners so were a few people around. Not much off lead time here as mostly roads and fenced paths but nice Spring walk.
