Parking is on the main road near the Brasenose Pub obviously park respectfully and safely so you don't annoy the residents.
Flat, canal side pathways and fields. No Stiles.
The Walk starts along part of the Oxford Canal Walk. There is also a patch of water your dog can paddle or swim (depending on how much rain the area has had) haf way through the walk just as you enter a copse of tall fir trees.
But only in the village.
Cropredy has 2 dog friendly pubs, the Red Lion and the Brasenose Arms, the latter has a wonderful garden for when the weather is nice. There is also a lovely dog friendly campsite in Cropredy called the Old Dairy Farm.
It's your typical village circular, very well signposted, plenty of off lead opportunities if you can trust your dog not to jump in the canal! But when you leave the canal there are lots of open fields that you can take your dog off the lead.
When you approach the village of WIlliamscot there is about 400 metres of road which can get busy, there isnt much verge, but as soon as youve got past it you are back to open fields and then rejoin the canal back to Cropredy. There may be sheep grazing in the later part of the walk but there is always signs advising you when dogs need to be on leads and obviously use your common sense.
