Small free National Trust car park, 10 or so cars max and apparently can be busy so plan a back up location
Quite hilly, and woodland trails which I imagine will be boggy in wet seasons. No stiles.
No water here
No bins here
In areas you can see some of the mountain bike trails going down the steeper sections so watch out for those.
I had read some reviews of here prior to going which said it was really busy, but I must have been lucky as only saw a handful of other walkers and managed to park fine.
It's quite a small area, and we just followed the perimeter having looked at the info board which takes you through some really tall forest and it's very peaceful with no traffic noise at all for the vast majority.
There's a small clearing of heathland where you can see a lovely view of the downs, but in the main it's woodland trails and a good bet for a warmer day if you want some shade.
