Free parking at Middleton Jubilee Hall opposite the one stop shop. Is a little walk to get to the beach but not on any major roads and really not that far.
Typical beach for the area with pebbles at the top, and nice shallow sandy plains at low tide. Are some steps to get down to the beach too.
Great beach for dogs to swim and play
At other end of the playing fields and in the car park, and also at the end of the alleyway where it meets the beach.
You can link all the way up to the Climping Beach walk here if you want to go a bit further.
From the car park if you head through the playing field then directly opposite there is a gate to the church car park, head this way and go right down Southdean Drive.
At the end there is a small fenced alleyway straight ahead that leads down to the beach. Worth noting a few landmarks where this alleyway comes out for when you come back as the entrance is a bit hidden!
Once on the beach you can go right towards Bognor, but we trekked left towards the Elmer Rock Islands.
You can walk all around these at low tide, but keep an eye if the tide is coming in as you dont want to get stranded - the large posts indicate the edges of the rocks so never that far to walk to get back up the beach.
A really nice beach, lots of dogs about playing and whilst people around on a sunny day wasn't crowded at all so reqll5 enjoyed it.
