In Hanwell village there is a pub called the moon and sixpence which has a dog friendly bar and a courtyard garden at the rear of the pub. In the village of Drayton there is a pub called the Roebuck which is dog friendly in the bar and restaurant and has seating outside the front.
This is a great walk with plenty of off lead opportunities across big open fields. If the weather has been wet then as you can see from our pictures water pools in the fields which the dogs find great fun. In the summer months most of the fields are filled with tall crops but all of the footpaths are well cleared and easy to follow. Most of the fields are free from grazing animals but occassionally the fields that back on to Drayton may have sheep in but they put an electric fence up and you have advanced warning of this.
