Decent sized free car park
Mainly pretty flat no real big hills, and no stiles. Lots of muddy, rooty, uneven woodland trails and sandy paths, some areas very boggy and wet in wet weather.
Winding stream for large section of the walk
Nope
Check out Amersham Common, and Heyshott & Ambersham Common routes on the site for local variations of the route.
There is another walk on the site called Ambersham Common which crosses over a bit of the area here. Also across the road is Ambersham and Heyshott Commons so plenty of choice around here.
This is a shorter route, but a good fun one. We headed right on the paths from the car park, keep going through the very boggy narrow paths.
Eventually we came down a hill to a little crop of houses and headed left immediately which takes you along side the stream.
You get to a bridge which you can cross for a longer route, but we carried on past that and this is a really cool stream section thay Hank loved jumping in and over!
At the end we went left which takes you into the common, you get to the road and go immediately left again and this leads you through more open heathland back to the car.
