Brookdale car park, Ilfracombe, EX34 8AY
This walk is via the South West Coastal path, after the initial moderate incline, it is a reasonably flat walk to then the moderate decline into Lee.
Lovely little beach at Lee. Rockpools to explore and the sea to paddle in
Bins in Ilfracombe not along the path.
The initial incline is along The Torrs, created by the victorians for their popular seaside holidays. Lee Bay is the aim of the walk and is a lovely spot for a picnic and beach play for the dog/s.
Lovely, reasonably gentle walk partly through the footsteps of Victorian holiday makers with stunning views to the beautiful Lee Bay. There were some grazing cows along the cliff tops, very used to walkers. In Lee there is a sweet pub Grampian Inn which does food. The walk back is via very quiet roads and pathway back into Ilfracombe.
