The car park is at the end of Mill Road. Fairly small for how busy it can be.
The car park is nearly at the top of the hill so whilst there are undulating slopes here and there, there's no steep climbs and nothing too taxing. Mix of grass and chalk paths for most of the way.
There is a dew pond, but at the time of visiting it's completely fenced off so no access at all.
Poo bin and general waste bins in the car park
Can also be accessed from Halewick Lane car park where there's a children's play area.
We went on a cloudy October afternoon, and were surprised by how busy it was even then with lots of other dog walkers and hikers so I'm sure in finer weather it will be even busier.
The actual nature reserve is very small and consists of small woodland areas, meadows and shrubbery but very pretty and a nice area to explore - be warned thought there are lots of pathways so you'll need to concentrate to keep you bearings.
As you head up the hill you can join the South Downs way, and can have a much longer walk if you want and even go up to Cissbury Ring. We joined the South Downs way for a bit to prolong the walk and enjoy some of the views and there's a large meadow in the dip between the two larger hills that created a nice loop for a walk just under 3km and an hour.
