Free car park, it’s quite small so I’d expect it to fill up at busy times. What three words novel.studio.tight There is another small car park over the road and various other national trust car parks in the area, most are free but the Rhododendron Wood car park is £3.50 for non-members.
Very hilly with steep steps up from the car park. There are alternative routes from other car parks that are less steep

Leith Hill Tower was built to make it the highest point in South East England. There is a kiosk in the tower that serves drinks and snacks 11am - 3pm.
There are steps heading out of the car park which lead up to the tower. It’s a pretty steep climb, but there are other routes to the tower from other car parks if you want something less challenging! It was a bit cloudy when we went but there were still great views from the tower. We then followed the path past the tower, try to avoid what we did which was end up on the mountain bike track! There are loads of paths around so you can do a route as long or short as you like. Duke’s Warren (a fenced in heathland area) had cows in so dogs need to be on lead in this area, but otherwise they can be off lead and have a good run around, we kept Stella on the longline as she finds woodland very exciting and tends to run off! It is a popular spot so can be very busy.
Here’s the National Trust guide to walks in the area, there are a few signposted routes you can follow. https://nt.global.ssl.fastly.net/leith-hill/documents/leith-hill-trail-leaflet.pdf
