Plenty of free parking at the sports centre, but will of course be busier on match days or if events are on
Nice flat walk, small private road section and mostly on muddy trails. Some parts are pretty boggy and dipped from hoof prints
We found a little stream to paddle in but nothing of note really here.
In the car park
Burger van at the junction just before you turn into here.
You start and finish at the sports ground here so nice to also have a bit of space to throw a ball and play if your dog likes that.
The path to start the walk is signed and goes straight out of the car park alongside the back gardens of adjacent houses. It carries on for a while before a fork in the path bu the entrance to a private house, we took the route following the hedgeline of this property which eventually leads onto a private road section, turn right and follow that until you come to another right signed thriugh the woods which leads you back to the start.
Most paths are tree lined routes between fields and farmland so not huge open spaces, but nice countryside views when the fields open out and was really nice in the autumn colours when we went.
Is on bridleways so watch out for horses, didnt see any sign of livestock and no stiles!
