We parked on the road in front of the church.
Mostly flat with a couple of small hills. Quite a few gates and stiles, one of which had a very small gap next to it - Stella just about squeezed under.
There was a lake and some streams but not very accessible for dogs and the lake wasn’t very clean!
No bins here
There was a pub across the road (The Six Bells) from where we parked. We also spotted a red kite!
Turn left out of Church Lane, cross the road and follow the public footpath sign. There’s a few fields where we could let Stella off, then you reach a small lake. Turn left onto the track until you reach a farm. The footpath runs through the farm but this wasn’t very well signed so we had to use the map on my phone. She went off lead in the next field where she had lots of fun rolling in the long grass, but had to go back on lead for a bit after that as there were a few fields with cows in.
There are a couple of small copses where we kept her on as she likes chasing squirrels but other than that she was off for most of the rest of the walk. The walk was very quiet, we only came across a couple of people near the start and that was it. There’s a bit of livestock around so be careful when letting dogs off lead but there are plenty of fields where they can go off. It took us about an hour and a half but there’s plenty of paths around if you wanted to extend the walk or make it shorter.
