Parking is along the road outside the church.
Quite a flat walk with only small hills that aren't steep every now and again. Mostly grassy field paths. and muddy woodland paths and small sections of private road. Several kissing gates, and one style about 1km in that Hank only just got under the wire next to it with a little help - bigger dogs won't get under.
Not particularly a main feature here, but there are several sections of streams that you can access at various parts.
No bins here.
Starts and ends in the small village of Nuthurst, with The Black Horse Inn just up the road.
A nice find this one as I've not been here before and just went based on the footpath map so always a little risky, but a really nice walk with some lovely open countryside.
The paths are pretty well signposted but I would recommend following my route map here as it creates a simple loop. Start by walking straight through the church yard and the route takes you through fields, meadows, farms, vineyards, equestrian paddocks and woodland riverside paths. It's very quiet, and although some of the farmland is for grazing there's not too much of that and there's lots of open spaces for your dog to tear it around and Hank was off his lead for the most part of this walk.
With all the wild meadows it's a great walk for nature lovers with colourful berries and wild flowers throughout. The paths in sections are clearly used by horses too, we didn't see any but that is one thing to be aware of, and past the final field with the giant teepee you join Nuthurst Street where you need to walk along the road for a very short distance to get back to the pavement and to your car.
