Several small lay-bys down Binsted Lane, we found a decent sized area with spaces on either side of the road for a few cars. The start of the walk just 50 yards or so back up the road. There's a small pond on your right, if you get to his you've gone just too far.
Pretty flat walk with no hills, and no stiles. Even in summer though was muddy in patches so sure it will be in winter, some paths quite narrow and the odd fallen tree to negotiate.

There are a few options of routes but ours was fairly simple - heading along the signposted path off the road we kept on the main track taking us through the woods, eventually opening out onto an enormous field. The path takes you right along the perimeter of the field at the end, and then back on yourself a little bit before going left into the woods again. From here it's right at the next cross roads, then right again at the next one and you'll eventually rejoin the first path you came in on so head left to go back to the road.
It is out of the way, and very quiet so Hank was off-lead the whole way. There were hoof prints so beware there may be horses - all fields are crops and no sign of any grazing animals at all. It's not a spectacular location with no outstanding features or views, but a pleasant countryside walk to get away from the crowds with lots of space for your dog to run so it may well be worth a visit!
