Small looped lay-by off Loxwood road where you can park along the side of the road, space for several cars. Walk starts through the yellow topped pillars behind my car in my pictures.
Mainly flat with level bridleways and footpaths, many surfaced. Lots of woodland paths to explore too which are muddy and uneven, some slopes but generally gentle and not difficult terrain.
Small pond at top point of the walk by the willow tree in the field. Some smaller streams too but were dry in the summer.
No poo bins here
If you cross the road you can link up with the walk along the Loxwood Wey & Arun canal route.
This is a lovely walk through woodlands and fields with a huge range of routes and paths. This was my first time here today and I'm happy to have found it, it's very quiet but not desolate with a few other dog walkers and cyclists around. I mainly stuck to the guided paths, but even then several times I had to check my route planner to make sure I knew roughly how far I'd gone, you really could come here dozens of times and not do the same route twice. I use an app called MapMyRun to do the route maps for this site, there are plenty of other similar apps to use but whatever you choose I would recommend using one here as if I didn't have mine I think I'd still be walking around there now several hours later!
Hank loved it too, there are grazing fields along the path at times but they're fenced off, and you're far from any roads too so lots of great off-lead opportunities running through the paths, open woodlands and the odd field as well.
