Car park just off Chuck Hatch Lane
Wide gravel path pretty much all the way. Is a bit of a hill, so all the way down to the bridge and all the way up on the way back. Are a couple of benches along the way.
Small stream going under the bridge, however dogs are encouraged to be on leads.
No pooh bins here
The Winnie the Pooh theme is prominent in the area, and further down the Chuck Hatch Road there's Piglet's car park, Roo's Sandpit and an A A Milne memorial.
It's just a bridge, but you know that. The simple pretty wooden bridge crossing the quaint little stream is just a special place, steeped in history of a famous little bear that kids wil love, and may just bring back a few happy childhood memories!
First built in 1907 this is the original location that A A Milne played pooh sticks at with Christopher Robin. It's a straight forward walk from the car park and the path leads you right there. As a dog walk there's not too much space for running as you're restricted to the paths pretty much all the way, but there are some small areas of woodland trails near the stream running close to the path which will be great for kids to explore too so it's a nice quick walk great for the family. Can be busy of course, and were horses around too when we were there.
