Main village short stay car park, charges apply - see photos
Main very flat with a few small slopes. No stiles, but are some steps down from the car park, and also through the first kissing gate. Mostly grassy muddy trails, is a bit narrow and uneven in parts.
Is along the river for much of the way, and without any access. There is one small area referred to as The Beach which has a nice shallow sandy/muddy bank and with great access to the water for swimming although beware of strong currents.
Poo bin just down the stairs from the car park
Handy car park in village centre so little shop and dominoes etc just up the path. The route takes you all the way to the RSPB centre and Pulborough Brooks.
Once parked up head down the pathway in the corner towards the village and down the steps, and down the little road and through the gate and you immediately come out into the vast wide open plains. The route itself if very straight forward and easily signposted and is basically a there and back route - you can go all the way to Pulborough Brooks or just turn around once you've had enough.
It's a lovely calm area and lots of wildlife to look out for. If you have an iPhone then there is an App that you can download, and you can look out for various trigger points on sign posts along the way for some extra info so a great way to help keep kids occupied too - QR code at the entrance if you forget before going.
There are grazing animals but were miles away today, was a fair few walkers but not busy at all so Hank was on and off the lead.
There is a nice little beach area about half way which is a great spot for a swim, we've been here a couple of times and can be popular and is quite small so with Hank not great around other dogs we've had to avoid it before, but had a lovely swim at sunset this evening with it all to ourselves for a while!
This area is very succeptible to flooding so don't bother going when it's very wet!
