We parked in Amberley, free car park off School Road. 2m barrier. Is additionap road parking at the top of Mill Lane too.
Some very steep sections, with uneven rocky bits too. Grassy chalky paths. No stiles
No water here
In the car park
Can link up to The Kithurst Hill walk also on this site for longer route
From the car park we headed left, crossed the busy main road and carried on straight across up Mill Lane.
As I got to the top of the steep Mill Lane I saw lots of cars parked along the road - I am quite lazy so had I known about this I would have parked there!!! Still, good exercise!
From there the path is signposted off to you left up a bumpy track and carry on up the hill.
When you get to the bottom of a further steep climb straight ahead, we took the path to the right, which soon forks left and this is basically the start of the loop, turn left at the next couple of junctions and you'll be on track.
We were lucky with a crystal clear day when we went, and the views were incredible in all directions.
Fairly busy but not packed, mostly is on tracks bordered by stock fencing so don't directly go through any livestock fields but they are around.
