Car park open dawn to dusk. Is National Trust but couldn't see anywhere about paying so assume it's free! Not a huge car park and we just got a space as someone left!
Mainly gravel paths, were a bit muddy in places but mostly flat with a few slight slopes. No stiles.
No water here
Poo bins by the cafe at the car park, and was one just on main path before you get to the Fort.
is a cafe and in the car park, and so many historical sites here. In particular the Wing Tips memorial sculpture which shows the outer width of the plane with nine American servicemen who all died in a crash there in 1945.
We just did the Reigate Hill part on this walk, heading right from the car park over the white footbridge and basically just carrying on in that direction, coming back the same way.
Along the way you pass the Fort, the Wing Tips memorial, finishing at the Inglis memorial which is right on top of the downs overlooking a spectacularly vast area.
Lots of places to stop and see, and benches here and there for rests too.
We went in half term so was pretty busy with lots of families, walkers, cyclists, and the main paths are also used by horses.
