Off-road parking in Slinfold village, I parked opposite St Peters Church right at the start of the walk.
Not particularly hilly but is through undulating fields. Mainly dirt and grassy field paths, some sections are quite narrow with tall greenery. There are a couple of stiles - one which Hank could not get under so had to be lifted over. Also are a couple of narrow kissing gates.
There is a small stream with a little bridge which has a little path down to the water's edge. Did have a bit of water in July when I visited but pretty boggy.
Is a poo bin on the road just to the left of the main entrance to the church yard.
Right in the centre of the village of Slinfold, with shop and pub within close walking distance.
Head into the main church entrance, and walk trough the graveyard and the path takes you to a small private road next to a sheep field, if you go left here, past the fields and up the hill, the path leads off to the right just before you enter the farm houses. The looped route is pretty easy to navigate from here on with most paths clearly defined, and where there are seemingly optional routes the private land is clearly denoted. Essentially there aren't any paths inside the loop so you mainly just need to go right whenever you have a choice.
it's a pretty walk which takes you through the local farms, and there's cows and sheep grazing amidst the crop and hay fields too. There are a couple of parts through farm buildings as well and we encountered a couple of tractors. It's very peaceful though and not many people around so a nice countyrside stroll. With all the farm animals and machinery, and there are lots of signs to keep dogs on leads too so Hank was on the lead for 95% so not one to visit if you're wanting to let your dog off the lead and with more freedom to roam.
