Decent sized car park next to the church. Closed overnight (see picture of sign for details), maximum stay 6 hours, maximum height 1.95m.
Mostly flat with a few small hills. Quite a few stiles, Stella managed to get under all of them but a larger dog would need lifting.
No water here.
Poo bin in the car park (other side of fence at the far end of the car park).
There are two pubs in the village although we didn’t visit them. There’s also a village store which had water for dogs out the front.
Turn right onto the high street as you come out of the car park, then continue down the road until a right turn onto Horsham road. Then cross the road and turn left down the footpath. The path then opens onto fields where Stella was able to go off lead. You then walk through a farm before turning left onto a gravel track and right over a stile into a field. This field looked like it could be used for livestock and the path then runs alongside a field containing sheep so we kept her on lead here. You then turn right onto the road and right again. Take a left onto Church Path. This goes through fields with horses in so again we kept her on lead but it was well fenced so if there’s not horses around they could probably go off lead. Turn right at the end of the path onto Horsham road and left onto the high street back to the car park. This walk was very quiet and there were plenty of nice fields and chances for dogs to be off lead (more so in the first half of the walk). There are a few short stretches of road but these are quiet. It took us just over an hour but we stopped off for an ice cream from the village store!
