Large free car park. Are two car parks, at opposite sides of the hill with the church in the middle. Details here are for the Halfpenny Lane car park that I used, but is also one on Guildford Road
Quite hilly here, especially in the woodlands where there are some steep sections. paths can be bubbly and uneven, no stiles.
No water here
Couple of poo bins all by the car park
On a clear day, apparently the views from the church reach out over 7 counties!
The main route is very simple, following the sandy hill path upwards which if you keep going straight will take you up to the church.
It's a pretty building perched right on the top of the hill, and there's fantastic views to take in.
There's lots of routes here, I just took a pathway behind and to the left of the church which took me down the hill and through a maze of quiet woodland tracks but lots of areas to explore here.
The church was quite busy with visitors but woodland trails were very quiet - did pass a horse too on the way up.
