Small car park just on your left as you enter Sweetwater Lane. Big Pot Holes!
Through the pine forest was nice and soft, but some of the other pathways round the common were very muddy. Flat walk no hills, no stiles, but some parts are bridleways so used by horses.
No accessible water here
No bins here
As you come out of the car park head down Sweetwater Lane, and shortly there are some smaller paths heading off to you left where you can explore the pine forest. Lots of different paths here, we generally kept left until you're walking along with the fenced off fields on you left but in truth it's pretty small so not too easy to get lost!
We eventually came to a crossroads where we went straight over and you'll see the heathland common shortly on your right, we went a bit past this before heading right which takes you down the other side of the common, on muddy tracks and eventually back to Sweetwater Lane gravel track which leads back to the car park.
It was a nice walk and worth going to if you're passing and want a quick quiet stop, but not one I'd particularly recommend making a day trip for if you're travelling far.
There is a very pretty lake opposite the car park but no access, I had a walk around but is a private fishery lake so no public access.
