Pay and display car park - check my photos for current rates.
Only very slightly hilly in parts, all routes are well maintained and mostly paved pathways and some wood chip and grassy paths.
Couple of lakes with various access points for dogs, and some smaller ponds and streams dotted around too.
Lots of poo bins here in the car park, and throughout the park at various points along main pathways.
Loads to see and do here. There's a Smith and Western restaurant, water sports, nature centre, Go Ape, woodland of remembrance, walled garden, children's play area, picnic areas, driving range, and lots more! Lot's of info boards and information so check it out before you visit if you want to plan your day.
With great access from Crawley, this large park has fantastic open spaces, lakes, and beautiful gardens and forests to explore. It's very dog friendly too, there's even a dog wash area in the main park and with so many facilities it's a great pace for a day out with the family or if you just want to wander the grounds.
I love going out to remote countryside locations, but it's important for Hank to also experience busier environments too at the moment and it's great for that here whilst also still having lots of space - I went on a rainy October morning and there were still quite a lot of walkers and joggers around, and on a sunny day it can be very busy so do be aware of that. There's lots of info boards dotted around so not easy to get lost and lots of different areas to choose your own route.
*Sorry I forgot to start my route planner at the beginning of this walk! I started at the main car park, and then headed straight to the lake and went left around it which is where I remembered and started the route map!
