Space for around 6 or 7 cars off the road at the start of the walk opposite Hylters (have to spell theat right!!) Lane. w3w ///voter.token.routs
This is a hilly walk. There's a few quite steep sections but nothing too bad, its just the whole way you're pretty much going up or down for long periods and never really feels like it's ever very level!! Some muddy parts, and some field paths but mostly stoney field tracks. Couple of gates but no stiles
No water here
No bins here

This is a nice, easy route and you can't really go wrong. Head into the fields just by where you're parked and from there look out for the public footpath signs, and just take a left every chance you get.
There are lots of other paths, but where they are private land they're well signed so not too easy to go wrong!
It's a lovely walk, and although it is called a woods it's not a typical forest type walk. Most paths are field tracks with some boggy bits, and you do walk between some impresssive woodland sections, but also there's lots of long paths with great views over the rolling countryside.
It's a nice quiet place too, we only passed a handful of walkers and one group of cyclists.
